CITRYNE®
CITRYNE® uses food-grade citrate — the same citrus chemistry found in lemons, limes and oranges — as its chelating agent. No EDTA, no artificial chelants: non-GMO, and safe for plants, animals, septic systems and human consumption.
The metal ions that cause hard water — principally calcium and magnesium — are bound to the chelating agent in our FDA-approved formulation, which keeps them soluble and unable to bond.
The cartridge design uses line pressure to push exactly the right amount of citrate into the water. No water is wasted and no electricity is needed.
Calcium carbonate becomes calcium citrate, so scale cannot bond to pipes, appliances or equipment — and pre-existing build-up is gradually removed.
What it replaces
Acid descaling, softener salt logistics and the flow restriction that comes with over-filtering. CITRYNE® can be used on equipment without stopping water flow.
